Pre-consultation assessment After you book you will receive: • a 7-day food and glucose record • a detailed background questionnaire • instructions for next steps and we will schedule your consultations. 2. 1:1 Initial Paediatric Dietetic Consultation (60 minutes) A personalised session tailored to your child’s needs. Depending on agreed priorities, this may include: • detailed nutrition assessment • review of glucose patterns (CGM/ Pump) • support with carbohydrate counting (including Level 3/ Advanced approaches where appropriate) • everyday diabetes management (school, activity, routines) • realistic nutrition and lifestyle goal setting Not all areas are covered in one session – the focus is agreed together. 3. In-depth pattern analysis & professional review After your appointment, I will review your child’s records and emerging patterns. This ensures guidance is based on real-life data and practical observations – not generic advice. 4. Personalised written action plan You’ll receive a clear written summary highlighting: • key observations • agreed priorities • practical next steps • areas to monitor / review together 5.
